    IEEE Transactions on Haptics Short Papers

    Deadline: Monday, September 25, 2023 (firm)

    The 2024 Haptics Symposium will again feature a IEEE Transactions on Haptics journal track. Papers accepted to this track will be presented at the conference and simultaneously published as short papers in IEEE Transactions on Haptics. These papers are up to 6 pages in length, including references.

    IEEE Haptics Symposium solicits technical papers that report original, novel, unpublished work relevant to all the scientific, technological, and application aspects of haptics. Papers are up to 6 pages in length, including references.

    Work-in-Progress (WIP) Papers

    Deadline: January 31, 2024

    IEEE Haptics Symposium 2024 solicits Work-in-Progress papers to enable authors to share late-breaking results with the research community. The emphasis of WIP papers is on the novelty of the work, not completeness. WIP papers should be 2 pages including references.

    IEEE Transactions on Haptics Posters

    Deadline: January 31, 2024

    Authors of articles recently published in the IEEE Transactions on Haptics (ToH) are invited to present their work during a joint poster session, featuring recent ToH and Work-In-Progress (WIP) publications. The poster session is planned as a single-track session, scheduled for the second day of the conference, and will not be held in parallel with any podium or demonstration sessions. This is a great opportunity for journal authors to engage with other scientists and reach a larger audience.

    Hands-On Demonstrations

    Deadline: February 7, 2024

    Haptics Symposium strongly encourages demonstrations of all kinds - for example, of novel developments in haptics-related devices, software or experiments that are of interest to the conference audience. Submission of hands-on demonstrations is open to all members of the haptics research community. Authors of accepted papers are particularly welcome to apply for demonstration space to support their presentation. Demonstrations must be free of commercial content; companies wishing to showcase products should apply for exhibitor status.
